A family name found in Galway in the 1890 birth index of Ireland.

Thomas Corless is found in the parish of Addergoole, Union of Tuam, in the Valuation of Tenements in the 19th century.

Several of the name are given in Mountscribe in 1834, as found in ‘Galway Roots’ v. II, the Journal of the Galway Family History Society.
